Now you can have dinner and cocktails at The Little Venetian on Thursdays and have 10% of your tab donated to our association. It's as easy as telling your waiter or waitress that your with North St Paul Hockey Association.
You can also schedule your team sponsored events and parties of 10 or more people at The Little Venetian and they will donate 10% of the entire tab to our association. It's a great way to have fun and make some money for the kids.
NSPAHA FUNDRAISING
Mark your calendars for our annual Taco Dinner! It will be held at the VFW, downtown NSP on Sunday, November 2nd. More information to follow.
PHONE-RAISER You can support our organization by donating your used cell phones and inkjet cartridges while helping save the environment from toxic waste! Contact your friends and family members to see if they also have old phones laying around. NSPAHA will be collecting old cell phones and inkjet cartridges at registration. Please bring them with you. They do not need to work and we do not need the chargers or cords. We will continue to collect them periodically throughout the season. When saving the inkjet cartridges, it's best to store them separately in plastic bags to prevent ink from getting onto the phones. If your out and about shopping, stop by a phone or printer store and ask them if they have any used phones or ink cartridges they could donate to a local youth organization, you could be surprised with what they may give you, I was! For more information, you can visit phoneraiser.com
GOODSEARCH.COM & GOODSHOP.COM What if North St Paul Hockey earned a penny every time you searched the Internet? Or how about if a percentage of every purchase you made online went to support our cause? Well, now it can!
GoodSearch.com is a new Yahoo-powered search engine that donates half its advertising revenue, about a penny per search, to the charities its users designate. Use it just as you would any search engine, get quality search results from Yahoo, and watch the donations add up!
GoodShop.com is a new online shopping mall which donates up to 37 percent of each purchase to North St Paul Hockey Association. Hundreds of great stores including Amazon, Target, Gap, Best Buy, ebay, Macy's and Barnes & Noble have teamed up with GoodShop and every time you place an order, you’ll be supporting our kids.
Just go to www.goodsearch.com and be sure to enter North St Paul Hockey as the charity you want to support. And, be sure to spread the word!
GROWHOCKEY.COM Grow Hockey is another shopping network, still available to us. It works much the same as GoodShop.com with the same stores. We can benefit financially from your purchases on line. Before you buy, simply start at GrowHockey.com/nstpaul (note that the address does NOT start with www) and you'll be at our very own link with over 100 retailers to choose from and much of the same as Good Shop.com.
We are not asking you to increase spending, just to change the path you take to make any on-line purchases. Please pass this information on to friends, relatives, and co-workers to also participate. Over the course of a year this can generate a significant amount of money for our Association.
